This past summer, the Puerto Vallarta Zoo in Mexico welcomed three tiger triplets. Bengal Tigers are an endangered subspecies of tiger although sadly they are the most populous of all tigers, with about 2,000 estimated in the wild. Programs like the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s Save the Tiger Fund work to address the environmental and economic challenges that threaten the remaining Bengal Tigers.
