Las Caletas Beach Hideaway 1 Hour Tour & History (Cabo Corrientes) south…

Las Caletas (or Las Caletas Beach Hideaway) https://www.puertovallarta.net/what_to_do/las-caletas-jalisco is a wonderful beach south of Puerto Vallarta & Boca de Tomatlán, you can only get there by the sea with Tour Provider Vallarta Adventures, which is why some people think it’s an island.

This video will show you around Las Caletas and provide some insight into the history surrounding this beach hideaway and a bit of background to John Huston’s stint here and the famous people that color this location.

Las Caletas Beach is an isolated jungle-clad green canopy enveloped cove with lots to do. You can get there during daylight with the Las Caletas by day tour and at night with Rhythms of The Night.

Once you arrive you can enjoy relaxing in hammocks by the sea, having a drink in the many small bars along the edges of the beach while being pampered by the friendly and attentive staff.

Other options while you are there include kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming with sea lions, paddle boarding, guided nature walks. There is a wonderful hilltop spa, there’s an Orchidarium, Aviary, Deer Sanctuary, Yoga, Cooking lessons, pottery classes, zip-lining into the sea. Las Caletas water-slide offers a rush down the hill into the sea, there’s an area where you can have a close-up experience with sea life, including manta rays and more.

I believe the best idea is to just relax and enjoy the sea, the view and the sun at Las Caletas Jalisco.

Las Caletas was for some time the home of the famous Irish-USA Hollywood director John Huston before it became Las Caletas Vallarta Adventures, he lived here for many years until his health forced him to a location closer to health support.

The Las Caletas Tour starts off at the Puerto Vallarta API harbor in the northern limit of the Hotel Zone, where the cruises arrive too. You’ll need to pay a reasonable port tax (I think it was a dollar or two) and you’ll get into the piers.

Snorkeling Las Caletas is great, the water is clear and warm and there are lots of fish very close to the edge and further in. You’ll find colorful fish hiding in the coral-covered rocks and all kinds of urchins, crabs and more in the deeper areas.

Las Caletas Cabo Corrientes tour is a great little day trip of young couples and families with younger kids, the various activities will make the trip one of the most memorable on your Puerto Vallarta trip.

Buckle up, grab some popcorn and a cocktail and come along with Chris & I for this Mexico Vlog. Guys, I know..I KNOW it’s a long one but I promise the content isn’t lacking. We’re in Puerto Vallarta + Sayulita this week and we are having a blast. Drinking lots of drinks (as per the usual) and eating all the food…again no surprise there. BUT, we are sharing some serious budget friendly tips and ways to visit Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita. We obviously share every single place we visit in both of these spots and I think it’s safe to say they’re the best food and drink spots. Chris and I have been to some of these spots before but some are new and blew us away. We’re also sharing where to get PCR tests for safe travel, why to avoid drinking the water, how to avoid any scams…basically if you’re a first timer in Mexico then this vlog has got you covered. If you aren’t visiting Mexico for the first time, this vlog is entertaining and educational af because we have done the research for you in terms of going out!! I mean, we literally (well, Chris does) go on a margarita tour and rate all the margaritas at different places. You’re welcome ;).
