We just got back safely from our first work travel assignment in almost a year. We were asked to come and capture the safety precautions and protocols at the Marriott in Puerto Vallarta, and we are so glad we did.

Michael and I both received Covid tests before and after flying. Continuously wore N-95 masks and of course stayed socially distant from others.

The purpose of this project was not to encourage everyone to begin traveling right away, but to inform and educate as to how the landscape of travel is changing, and what companies like The Marriott are doing to keep their staff and guests safe and healthy while still providing incredible experiences. As the future of travel is changing with the unfolding pandemic, it’s important now more than ever to shed light on this (what places like the Marriott are doing to keep us and others safe). Masking up and social distancing among other things aren’t going anywhere in 2021. We are in this for the long-haul. But when the time is right to travel again, keeping these safety protocols in mind to stay safe and healthy is vital.

We are so grateful that this work safely brought us to a little slice of paradise, and we can’t wait to share everything we learned. A huge THANK YOU to the incredible staff at the Marriott for keeping us safe while there.

We experienced the authentic foods of Mexico with a bilingual guide on an intimate tour of Puerto Vallarta’s secret spots. We learned how the locals eat, we got a close-up view of Mexican culture.

I had been traveling up along the west coast of Mexico, going from one place to another continuously but today it was time to relax and just hang out and enjoy life at the Flamingo Vallarta Hotel. Puerto Vallarta was another really incredible beach town by the coast in Mexico that I had been enjoying very much. I had previously come from other states such as Oaxaca, Jalisco and Guerrero from other famous towns also. My favorites were Puerto Angel, Zipolite, Mazunte, Puerto Escondido, Zihuatanejo and Acapulco. In the coming video I will be going to Mazatlan and then take the boat to La Paz.
