Puerto Vallarta is one of the most popular destinations for snowbirds with over 6 million tourist arrivals every year. People come for the fabulous sunny weather, the beaches, and to engage in a variety of activities like whale watching, scuba diving, and the vibrant nightlife.

Another popular activity that many visitors like to partake in is casino gambling. There are eight licensed gambling venues located in and around the city. While a couple of them are essentially small slot halls, most of them are full-blown Vegas-style casino resorts that offer a full range of games as well as other options like sports betting and poker. If you wish to integrate casino gambling into your next visit to Puerto Vallarta, then it’s a good idea to find nearby accommodations. Let’s look at the top three Puerto Vallarta casinos and the best hotel options for each venue. Be reminded that you must be at least 18 to enter a Mexican casino.

Winclub Casino Platinum

There are actually two Winclub Casinos in P.V. One is located on the north end near the airport while the other is a tad south of Las Glorias. It has a card room for poker fans and a sportsbook for sports fans. Visitors have a great selection of dining options and the nightlife is incredible. Things to Consider When Booking

Because Puerto Vallarta is such a popular tourist spot, the city and surrounding areas are rife with hotels and other options like Airbnb and timeshares. We have merely listed a few of the best and safest options. Some of the hotels mentioned here are quite pricey while others are budget-friendly. Some are all-inclusive and some aren’t. The important thing is that you find a spot that’s right for you.

The first thing you need to consider is the price. Accommodations can easily become the most expensive part of a vacation. Of course, you need to factor in such things as location, amenities, and proximity to other activities like beaches, museums, and entertainment.

Also, if you’re booking a hotel with the plan to hit up a nearby casino often, it’s key to know what games they have. Say you’re a fan of baccarat, you’ll want a hotel close to a casino that offers more than just one baccarat table.
