Puerto Vallarta is one of our favorite places to visit in Mexico. We felt very safe there, people are so friendly, and it is beautiful! You must go! We went for our honeymoon and will be back. Puerto Vallarta is a city and a municipality in the Mexican state of Jalisco. It is located in the Bay of Banderas on the Pacific Ocean. The agglomeration offers two major recreational pools and a harbor for cruise ships. It is an important tourist destination. In 2010, according to the results of the census, Puerto Vallarta had 203,342 inhabitants and its hotels recorded 5 million overnight stays.

Unlike Cancún, another popular Mexican tourist destination, Puerto Vallarta was a traditional Mexican village before becoming a world-renowned resort.

Puerto Vallarta est une ville et une municipalité de l’État mexicain du Jalisco. Elle se situe dans la Bahía de Banderas sur l’océan Pacifique. L’agglomération propose deux importants bassins de plaisance et une rade d’escale pour les navires de croisière. Elle est une destination touristique importante. En 2010, d’après les résultats du recensement, Puerto Vallarta comptait 203 342 habitants et ses hôtels avait enregistré 5 millions de nuitées.

Au contraire de Cancún, autre destination touristique mexicaine courue, Puerto Vallarta était un village mexicain traditionnel avant de devenir une station touristique à réputation mondiale.
