Puerto Vallarta – What can you do in just 24 hours?

We just went to Puerto Vallarta for only 24 hours. In this video, we show you how we spent our only day in Puerto Vallarta, and we recommend a few “must-do” items if you’re only in Puerto Vallarta for a very short visit.

Leave us other suggestions in the comments on YOUR top things you love to do when visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Since we were only there for one day, we went with an all-inclusive resort package for the day. This way we could just relax and not worry about where we were going to eat or drink. We don’t normally do all-inclusive packages because we love exploring the town we’re visiting and experiencing many local restaurants. But in this case, it made sense. We’re really glad we did!

We stayed on the beach and were only a few blocks to the Malecon. We went there twice. There’s so much to do, see, and experience on the Malecon in Puerto Vallarta. This is THE must-do spot in our opinion.

We stayed at the Villa Premiere Boutique Resort: https://www.premiereonline.com.mx/

Puerto Vallarta BEACHFRONT Apartment Tour

On my third trip to Puerto Vallarta, I thought I would stay at the beautiful Playa Gemelas. It was definitely a splurge compared to other places in the city, but when you consider the fact that you are RIGHT in front of the beach, it is a pretty great deal.

Puerto Vallarta Food Tour??Mexico

Epic stops along this Puerto Vallarta food tour that I hope you’ll love!

Here are the places I recommend and what to try at each:
– Tacon de Marlin – they serve ENORMOUS seafood burritos with my personal favorite being that which the restaurant takes its name, marlin. It’s smoked marlin and packed with flavor.
– Marisqueria Los Lirios – I am not being over the top when I tell you that the ceviche I ate at this family-run restaurant was the best I have ever eaten in my entire life and I spent 5 years sampling them around Mexico. They also have amazing tacos and some of the best service in town.
– Los Muertos Brewing – Great craft beer on draft, decent pizza, and the best place in town to watch whatever sporting event may be taking place that day (NFL, College sports, Premier League football, etc).
– Taqueria El Moreno – A newly discovered late-night spot for amazing asada tacos. This family and female-run spot is making fresh corn tortillas to order and serving up some seriously good tacos and homemade (veryyyy spicy) salsas.
– La Casa del Ceviche – Discovered this spot on my last day in town where they are serving outrageously delicious aguachile and tuna ceviche in an upstairs apartment in the Romantic Zone at an incredibly low price. Get yourself here asap.
– Monzon Brewing Co – My personal favorite spot for craft beer in PV with top-notch staff, and cans you can take home with you.
