All riders are matched with their ideal horse based on their level of experience from beginner, intermediate and expert. Horseback riding in Vallarta is a great way to interact with a different culture and like minded companions.
Your tour begins at the traditional Mexican Hacienda. You will be warmly greeted by your personal guide and accompanying cowboy. Your experience begins when you cross the Rio Mascota on horseback. The horses will guide you along the ancient Spanish trails back to the half-way point . Here you will be offered a cold beer and a shaded realaxing spot underneath an impressive (gigantic) native tree. Your next destination is the natural hot springs where you can relax and take a dip in one of 3 warm spring water filled Jacuzzis. Once you have relaxed sufficiently, you have the once in a lifetime opportunity to swim with a horse!
Finally we head back to the Hacienda Restaurant where lunch will be served in our homey "Palapa" style restaurant. Your undoubtedly memorable meal consists of fresh traditional Mexican food, a drink of your choice (including beer) and all the fiery or mild salsas you can imagine! To compliment this rural experience you will be offered a brief tequila tasting along with the explanation of the process used to make tequila from agave plants. You will also have the option to purchase souvenirs (including tequila).

Age and Restrictions Children ages 9 and up may ride alone and are considered adult passengers.
Ages 5-8 may ride alone, special saddles and belts are provided to ensure their safety. Children 0-4 may ride accompanied by an adult free of charge.

Tour times are 9:30 am and 1:30 pm every day. The tour duration is 4 hours (2 ½ hours of horseback riding time).
