Puerto Vallarta’s Malecón boardwalk is a popular destination for any Puerto Vallarta trip. It’s a long stretch of sandy beach with a walking path, great for relaxing on the beach as well as for exercising.

The beach itself is very clean and extremely warm, even during a tropical storm (I was here during Tropical Storm Tara). Lots of shops, vendors, and restaurants are located here. Don’t be surprised when vendors walk up to you on the beach trying to sell you food or jewelry!
