We have been to Puerto Vallarta several times. This was our second time to stay at Vista del Sol, but the first in room 715. We have stayed at Plaza Mar several times, and also further north before narrowing in on the Romantica Zone. We really enjoy staying in the Romantica Zone over other areas of PV
What started out to be not so pleasant turned out to be a great stay. There was a bit of mix-up in the room when we first arrived. One call to Jeff (PVKID) and everything was cleared up. Working through Jeff helps ensure a pleasant experience.
We find the front desk staff at Plaza Mar to be much more helpful than the front desk staff at Vista del Sol. Vista del Sol does have a terrific swimming pool though. Much better than the pool at Plaza Mar.
