We arrived by van climbing a steep cobblestone road to the very top of the road to a parking area next to Villa Divisadero, on the sixth and highest level of this condo building. The door to Divisadero was open. We walked in and were blown away by 55 feet of an unobstructed view overlooking the Romantica area of PV and the ocean far below. We were surrounded by Mexican art, antiques and custom furniture. The tile bath off the master was a replica of a Roman bath. The bedrooms were exquisite. All as represented in the listing description. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner was helpful in answering our questions both by telephone and online. We would recommend this property to our friends. Our favorite restaurant by far was Margarita, an authentic Mexican restaurant across the street from Joe’s Fish Shack (recommended) and just down the street from the Blue Shrimp (not recommended). All are about a 5 minute cab ride from Divisadero to the shopping and restaurant area of the Romantica, which is an area across from Divisadero along the beach. There is para-sailing and jet skies for rent all along the Romantica beach are.
