We stayed in unit 303 for one week in January 2016. The condo is very beautifully decorated and the kitchen is well equipped for people who want to make their own meals. (You might want to bring your own spices however, as there is just salt and pepper with perhaps the odd stray spice left from a previous guest) Front desk staff spoke English well and were very accommodating.Housekeeping comes three times a week and does a thorough job (beds made, towels changed, floors washed, dusting, bathrooms cleaned etc.) You are responsible for doing your own dishes, which is fair. Pool areas were clean and inviting plus you can BBQ on the pool level if you want to eat up there. There’s a reading room, cards/games room and laundry (for a fee) on the top deck as well. There is a brochure in the condo that explains the basic rules and a few tips for the building and area. We especially appreciated the good wifi in this condo. The only complaint we had was the safe would not work and went off in the middle of the night (alarm beeps). Jeff procured a replacement in a couple of days but there were no instructions with the new unit and by now we were afraid to set it off again so we just hid our passports and valuables elsewhere. That’s the only negative however, and we would not hesitate to recommend the Plazamar to others. It’s a lovely apartment block in a very central location. Top marks for all the staff.
Suggestions:
– a take away city map in the lobby
– housekeeping might need to check that departing guests really have left the dishes clean, ours needed to be washed before using
