My husband and I often talk about exploring other parts of Mexico, but every time we consider a trip, our hearts turn to Puerto Vallarta and of course a stay at Plaza Mar. Being Canadian, we were questioned by other Canadians at the Olas Altas Saturday Market as to why we were willing to pay in American prices and we were quick to reply with what we think are the best reasons: the friendliness of the staff, Jeff’s business organization, efficiency, and thoughtfulness including the coffee provided, the security of the building, and of course location, location, location.
While we do prefer to stay on the 5th or 6th floor, this was our first stay in unit 401. We loved it especially for the little window off the balcony which allowed us to see down the beach. We try to be conscious of the lights and electricity costs in PV so one suggestion might be to provide a flashlight in order to see the safe. We always carry a purse size flashlight with us, but could see where this might be a difficulty for some renters. Another helpful item would be a plastic tray for those of us who like to cook some meals in. The tray would make it easier to carry items up to the BBQ.
We are so happy to be returning in March of this year for a week and then two weeks next January. Thanks Jeff and the front office staff for always giving us such great experiences.
