This is without a doubt the nicest place I have ever stayed! It makes some of the top name hotels I’ve stayed in look sterile and cold. The property is as beautiful as the pictures and so very inviting and comfortable. I loved the fact that I could leave all the doors & windows open to the sounds of the ocean all day and all night. It’s a short walk to old town Puerto Vallarta where there are so many really good restaurants to choose from that even though it has an amazing kitchen with every kind of utensil you could imagine, I only cooked once. My son, who flew in from Phoenix to join me, walked through using the video function on his phone so he could show all of his friends how fantastic it is. We were both impressed by how comfortable the beds are. If you’ve ever stayed in Mexico you probably know that most beds are beyond firm (hard) and not super comfortable. The views were totally amazing, and as luck would have it, we could see fireworks from the balcony. It was a celebration of the 95th year of Puerto Vallarta officially becoming a town. I also enjoyed the swimming pool. It’s bigger than some of those in the older hotels and a very peaceful place to relax and cool off after a busy day of activities. I could go on about how wonderful it was, but I really need to load my photos onto my Facebook page so I can make all my friends envious.
