We stayed the week before easter in unit #506. The condo is not one of those glitzy chrome and mirrors place. The feeling is stucco and tile. The building was very quiet but because of the time of year the malecon was very busy and noisy well into the late hours. Because of that we couldn’t leave the doors and windows open for natural cooling. We had to have the air conditioner running at night. It was wonderful being right on the beach and malecon. Check in was a breeze. I will single out the desk clerk for the day shift. I believe that here name is Adriana??? She was knowledgeable and was easily understood. We had questions everytime we walked by and she was able to answer them all. I would recommend the Plaza Mar to anyone.
There were a couple of minor problems. We rented a car and parked in the garage. It only happened to us once but getting out of the garage there were cars parked in front of the gates.
