This was our second visit to Plaza Mar and we did not want to leave at the end of our week’s stay. Unit 402 was a delight right from when we entered our unit to the friendly accommodating staff who take great pride in their work. Thank you Oscar and Adrianna! One almost does not want to write a review to keep this gem a secret; however, we would not have stayed here unless we had read the positive reviews of others. Location, location, location is it’s selling feature as well. Soft pink and blue sunrises with coffee in hand and fresh pastries from the street vendor below to blazing sunsets with a flavoured tequila in hand cannot be beat. We love it’s close proximity to everything that makes Old Town Vallarta so special- the Jazz Festival at Cuates y Cuetes, Marisma Fish Tacos, the beach, and yes even the little black and brown female dog that hangs around Serranos and the vendors at night. We can’t wait to return next year and when we retire, spend more than a week in this well run complex. Thank to you to all the staff right from the pool workers to the front desk, Aaron, and Jeff for making our love for Mexico even more special.
