I have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for 10 years and most of my stays have been to the Plaza Mar. I normally come 2 times a year for 10 days in May and again in October. Each time I run into the same people so it’s like a homecoming when I’m there. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The staff is very friendly, and helpful and go out of there way to make your stay great. The rooms are very clean and spacious with maid service usually every other day. The Plaza Mar is located in Old town which is where you can find great restaurants and fun nightlife.
When I’m there and the weather cooperates I use the pool on the 6th floor exclusively for my relaxation. There is a refrigerator and BBQ for the residents use along with laundry facilities. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else.
