Loved our stay in unit 404 in Plaza Mar! The location is right in the heart of Zona Romantica and the wraparound balcony of unit 404 gave us the best of both worlds over looking the ocean as well as the park. The condo itself was clean and well equipped. The bed in master bedroom was incredibly comfortable!
We spent our days walking the malecon or exploring Old Town. We did daily small shopping trips to Ley and/or the municipal market for our groceries. We cooked most meals in the condo (lots of fresh fish and shrimp!). Our evenings were spent on the balcony overlooking the ocean/park and enjoying the entertainment on the street (fire dancers, mariachi, drummers, etc). Some evenings had more excitement than others 😉
We ordered delivery one night from Serranos Meat House (located below the condo) and it did not disappoint! It was nice being able to have our own private space to enjoy our meals and drinks.
The building itself is very clean and the staff provided exceptional service. We did not use the pool but the space where it is located is wonderful and has an amazing view.
We will be back and hope we can stay in this building in a corner unit with the wrap around balcony!
