Our driver to and from the PV airport, Aaron Lopez, was great! He was on time, polite and very helpful with our bags. And his car was brand-new clean! He asked us to send him a picture of us, so he spotted us coming out of the terminal and got us to the condo within one hour of our flight arrival, in spite of very heavy traffic. This was our 9th trip back to Vallarta, so we didn’t need much travel advice, but he did recommend a few restaurants that we already knew about and were eager to try.
We had an issue with the lock on our front gate midway through our vacation, and the staff was up to repair it within 10 minutes of us contacting the front desk; they were very pleasant, very professional and friendly, and repaired it very quickly.
Everything about Plaza Mar is perfect….and we do mean everything. From the location, which is spectactular, to the amenities and cleanliness of the room, the furnishings, the comfortable bed, the spacious bathroom, plenty of dresser and closet space (and hangers), the friendly staff, the rooftop pool, the beautiful plants, the cute dogs next door, all of it. Unit 602 has a beautiful view of the ocean and the Malecon. Being located on the ocean side, we were concerned that it would a bit noisy from the bars right across from us, but all we heard at night was the ocean. We never closed the balcony doors, nor the front door….the breeze was beautiful all day and all night, and we never even thought about using the air conditioning during our entire 2-week stay.
The location of this condo is absolutely perfect. For those who may be considering Vallarta for the first time, this is definitely the area to stay. People who stay in Nuevo or the Hotel Zone and never venture into Zona Romantica or Los Muertos Beach, as well as Conchas Chinas and Mismaloya, are missing out on the true heart and soul of Vallarta….this is why we return to this part of Vallarta year after year, and why we will definitely stay at Plaza Mar again.
