SAYULITA / SAN PANCHO

Breakfast in the town of Bucerias at one of our favourite restaurants Mar y Sol located right at the beach in downtown bucerias.

Here we can enjoy a nice walk at the beach, or check the market if you are looking for something authentic from the region.

Places of interest along the way for sightseeing:

  • Punta Mita
  • Careyeros beach
  • Litibu

Sayulita is a village on Mexico’s Pacific coast backed by the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains. It’s known for beaches with strong surf. To the west, Los Muertos Beach is more sheltered, sandwiched between protective rocks. Galleries in Sayulita sell artworks by Huichol indigenous people. Southwest, the Marieta Islands have diverse wildlife such as humpback whales and dolphins

San Francisco, or San Pancho as it is more commonly referred to, is a Mexican town situated in the State of Nayarit, San Pancho shares Sayulita’s small scale and beachfront locale, but it’s a far different place. I love a great walk on the very clean beach from one end to the other. There are chairs and umbrellas and staff to accommodate all your needs and desires. The sunset is something you’ll never get tired seeing and won’t be disappointed

Activity level: Moderate

Duration: 8 hours approximately

What to bring: Swimwear, towel, biodegradable sunscreen, sandals, comfortable shoes for walking, money for food/beverages, shopping
